PA Airport

The Philly owls were seen from Hog Island Rd. west of Fort Mifflin
where the large fuel tanks have red and white checkered tops. The
runway is labeled 27R. Hog Island is 'behind' the airport, as close
as you can get to the Del. River. The control tower and the huge
UPS complex are on Hog Island Rd.
(Hog Island Road is accessed from w. side of airport/Tinicum, runs south edge of Airport and
Fort Mifflin is at s.e. edge of airport next to the river)

Delaware

Lukens Drive this morning. At around 11:30 am, there was one
snowy owl clearly visible sitting on top of an overgrown abandoned building
opposite the TA instruments parking lot. If you park in the lot and look
towards the bridge, the building will be in your line of sight.
